First there were absolutely no instructions on how to assemble the bike.
At the very least there should be a mechanical "blow-up" of the assembly so I knew which screws were used where.
Also the mechanical positioning of the axle mounting plates relative to the frame mounting plates.
There were three major problems with the assembly.
The placement of the mounting plates on the frame were off.
The plates as mounted would not mate with the axle mounting plates.
By the assembly videos the axle plates should mount outside the frame plates.
That was impossible to accomplish.
I determined that to only possible way to mate the plates was by positioning both axle plates to the right of the frame plates.
Even doing that required some hammer and anvil persuasion.
I was very worried that I might break my new bike while trying to assemble it.
In the end the welds survived and I was able to mate the plates.
The second problem was the basket on the rear could not be installed without modification.
The support rods, as the holes were cut, would not allow the basket to be positioned properly.
I had to convert the holes on one end of each into slots.
That allowed me to level the basket.
The third problem was the alignment of the rear fender bracket.
Once it was mounted one fender was too far forward and one too far back.
Again I had to persuade the assembly into proper position (hammer and anvil).
It is completely assembled now and I do like it very much.
